Could this be the answer to Senator Grace Poe’s question about her biological parents?
“On Thursday, December 10, just a few moments after looking into an attempted break-in at the office of Aksyon Radio in Iloilo City, Senator and presidential aspirant Grace Poe was approached by a woman introducing herself as the sister of her biological mother,” reports Ernie Reyes on InterAksyon.com.
The woman intoduced herself as Lorena Rodriguez and claimed that she and her clan have long known that Senator Poe is their relative.
Rodriguez said she only chose to come foward now “after seeing how difficult it has been for the senator to be on the receiving end of the bashing on the political front as a foundling.”
“Naawa na kami sa kanya, kaya lumabas kami na kamag anak nya po para matapos na ang problema (We sympathize with her. That’s why we’ve come out, to put an end to this problem),” said Rodriguez.
She claimed that the name of Senator Poe’s biological mother, who is her elder sister, is Victoria Rodriguez. They are actually from Buenavista, Guimaras.
The report noted: “Victoria Rodriguez is already deceased, but she has another daughter who can subject herself to a DNA test for Senator Poe, a matter to which the senator readily expressed an openness.”
Poe is expected to go for another round of DNA tests.
