It’s been a tough year for Donita Rose and husband Eric Villarama.
In April, Donita admitted that they were having marital problems after 12 years of marriage. “Right now, I’m in the middle of an issue with my husband,” she had told Gorgy Rula of PEP.ph.
They got hitched in 2003 in Santa Barbara, California, and it seems like their long distance set-up has been a problem. Eric is based in San Diego, while Donita is busy with her life here.
While it got to a point where they almost signed their divorce papers, the ex-MTV VJ revealed in August that not only were they able to work things out, but that they’re stronger than ever.
Back then, the two started talking about who was to move where. Alas, this weekend, Donita again admitted that their problems aren’t over yet.
Donita told Rachelle Siazon of PEP.ph that they are still in the process of working things out. “I can’t say that we’re really okay, okay. We’re still trying but it has been really tough.”
Eric is scheduled to fly in from the US. We’re hoping the two will be able to really, truly work things out. The two have a 10-year-old son Joshua Paul.
