Miss Universe host Steve Harvey is having one hell of an evening, that’s for sure.
After announcing the wrong winner at the 2015 Miss Universe coronation night, the American host took to Twitter to apologize for his blunder — but ended up making another mistake.
“I want to emphatically apologize to Miss Philippians and Miss Columbia. This was a terribly honest human mistake and I am so regretful.”
Yikes!
He’s deleted the tweet, but not before people were able to take a screencap.
Apart from tweeting his correct apologies to both Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia twice, Harvey also said sorry to the viewers of Miss Universe.
He earlier mixed up the results, proclaiming Miss Colombia as the 2015 Miss Universe. He interrupted her triumphant walk to say he made a mistake and that it was actually Miss Philippines who won.
Miss USA was the second runner-up.
Jesus Steve, get some rest, man. You obviously have the jitters.
I’d like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.
