On Tue, Dec 22, as he signed the 2016 budget, President Benigno Aquino III got teased by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. about his connection to Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach.
“It may be recalled that Aquino and Wurtzbach were once linked,” reports Willard Cheng on ABS-CBNnews.com.
As he prepared to introduce the President, Ochoa greeted the people, “Isang Miss Universe na umaga sa inyong lahat (A Miss Universe morning to you all).”
Aquino responded jokingly, “Executive Secretary at kumpare ko pa na nagmula ang relasyon natin sa ating mga magulang, sinira mo itong araw na ito (Executive Secretary and my good friend since our parents were also good friends, you just ruined this day).”
Aquino seems to be alluding to the fact that he and Wurtzbach didn’t quite work out.
