Cielito “Mahal” del Mundo, best known for co-hosting Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko, died on Sat, Jan 9. She was 80 years old.
Her daughter, Marisoc Nueno, confirmed the sad news to ABS-CBN, saying her mother died in Phoenix, Arizona.
There are conflicting reports to the cause of her death. ABS-CBN reports del Mundo passed away because of a stroke, while Manila Bulletin reports heart attack as the cause.
