For his favorable portrayal of a cop in ‘Ang Probinsyano’, Coco Martin gets recognition from the PNP

For his favorable portrayal of a cop in the hit teleserye Ang Probinsyano, actor Coco Martin was recognized by the Philippine National Police on Wed, Jan 20.

Martin, who plays SPO1 Cardo Dalisay in the TV remake of the Fernando Poe Jr. movie classic, was awarded a certificate of appreciation during the 63rd Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) founding anniversary at Camp Crame in Quezon City. He received the certificate from the Prosecutor General Atty. Claro A. Arellano.

Ang Probinsiyano which airs weeknights after TV Patrol, tells the story of Cardo, a provincial cop, who assumes the identity of his twin brother Ador, a CIDG official who was killed in a drug bust operation.
