In a brief exchange with a fan on Twitter during an #AskMissUniverse question-and-answer event, Pia typedthe actor’s name with a wink emoji in her reply when asked who she wants to be her leading man if she gets the chance to make a movie.
The answer stirred interest among fans and observers, causing everyone to look into the real score between the two celebrities.
Especially since Piolo Pascual, who serenaded the beauty queen along with his close friend Sam during Pia’s Grand Homecoming event at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan 28, was also reported to have hinted on the two’s possibly juicy past.
Tongues continued wagging when Sam posted a photo with Pia on his Instagram account last Saturday.
The picture was taken on Friday night during Pia’s victory party, which Sam graced upon the latter’s invitation.
Speculations about Pia and Sam’s off-screen relationship gained more strength today after Bandera reported that an unnamed source from ABS-CBN has shared that the two were actually a ‘”hot item” even before Pia achieved her latest celebrity status.
