A media release sent by the staff of Camarines Sur 3rd District Rep. Leni Robredo states that former President Fidel V. Ramos is endorsing her as his vice presidential bet for the national elections.
“Ramos met with Robredo in his office in Makati City on Monday, February 8, a day before the kickoff of LP’s campaign in Capiz and Iloilo provinces on Tuesday, February 9,” reports Julliane Love De Jesus on Inquirer.net.
The statement from Robredo’s office read, “In the meeting, Ramos shared his campaign experience in 1992 and offered Robredo some advice on how to woo voters as she visits different parts of the country starting tomorrow.”
The report noted, though, that it wasn’t clear if Ramos would also endorse LP standard-bearer Mar Roxas for the presidency.
