Things are once again looking up for Senator Grace Poe.
“Poe is shown as the leading presidential candidate in the Pulse Asia preference survey that was conducted among 1,800 respondents from January 24 to 28,” reports Janvic Mateo in The Philippine Star.
The survey asked this question: “Of the people on this list, whom would you vote for as President of the Philippines if the 2016 elections were held today and they were candidates?”
Below are the results:
1. Sen. Grace Poe – 30%
2. Vice President Jejomar Binay – 23%
3. Mar Roxas – 20%
4. Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte – 20%
5. Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago – 4%
The report noted: “Political observers remarked that Poe’s improvement in the ranking may have been positively influenced by the Supreme Court hearings on the disqualification cases ranged against her.”
