Soldiers accidentally discover marijuana plantation in Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte

The road less traveled may lead to interesting destinations…but who would expect to stumble into a marijuana plantation?

On Sun morning, Feb 7, soldiers from the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion were recently called to intervene on the feud between two political clans in Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte.

However, when they passed through Baranggay Kiazar, they came upon a marijuana farm that had about 3,000 plants.

As indicated in Roxanne Arevalo’s report on ABS-CBNnews.com, the authorities are still trying to find out who owns the marijuana plantation.

By the way, the 3,000 marijuana plants were uprooted and then burned in front of Tagoloan’s municipal hall.
