Charlie Brown and friends grow up in ‘Dog Meets God’

Charlie Brown, the famous comic strip personality, gets a 21st century face in Dog Meets God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead.

In this “unauthorized parody” of the Peanuts comic strip, which will be staged in Makati at an 80-seater bakery as part of the Fringe Festival, Brown and his mates are now teenagers.

And like most teens, all they talk about are sex, drugs, abuse, rebellion, identity and a dozen other things that they wouldn’t like their parents to know about.

That’s something to chew on.

Catch ‘Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead’ on Feb 11-14, Feb 26 or Feb 14 at Staple and Perk Bakery, 2306 Eco Plaza Bldg, Pasong Tamo Ext, Makati. For tickets call +63 9274604652.
