Enjoy Intramuros with a (paranormal) twist!

Because of the rich history of the Walled City, it’s no surprise that ghosts and paranormal entities make it their home.

This prompted the Center for Paranormal Studies (CPS), headed by Jade Martin, to organize nightime tours for those who want to experience a different kind of Intramuros.

The Ghost Walk was initially meant to be exclusive for their group, but they eventually decided to open it to the public. And they even made it free of charge.

What Martin didn’t expect is to have as much as 12,000 people interested in her event. She has decided to make a series of tours to accomodate the crowds interested in her ghost walks.

“We are not ghost-hunting here. This is an Intramuros tour with a twist—on the context of ghosts. If you see or feel something, that’s only a bonus,” said paranormal investigator Martin told the Philippine Inquirer

The tour visits sites that, according to Martin, have “high levels of demonic presence.”

In a sense, it’s a much more exciting version of history classes. It is also a good opportunity to check out Intramuros at night.

The plan is to have the Intramuros Ghost Walks until March, but the schedule is still flexible. You may check out their Facebook page for updates.
