Alaska Aces player Calvin Abueva made his acting debut in the ABS-CBN teleserye, Dolce Amore, which start Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.
In the episode broadcast on Thu, Mar 3, Abueva is (naturally!) shown playing in a barangay’s basketball court. He is one of the pals of Tenten (Gil’s character). When Tenten introduces him to Sese (Soberano’s character), Abueva jokes that Sese is a “pabebe” sort of girl.
Sese then takes the basketball from Abueva and kicks it. Abueva is stunned when the ball goes through the basket.
We wonder if Abueva will have more screen time in the teleserye.
