Aww, young love. Nadine Lustre is quick to defend onscreen partner and now boyfriend James Reid over accusations that he is a playboy, or shall we say, easy with the ladies.
“Hindi naman playboy,” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN talk show Tonight with Boy Abunda on Tue, Apr 19.
This comes after a video clip of James accompanied by two ladies circulated online, thus incurring the wrath of their numerous and very passionate fans. It also doesn’t help that the 22-year-old actor had a reputation for being a lady’s man before admitting his relationship with Nadine. But she said: “Well yung doon naman po sa video, ‘yung nasa video kilala ko naman po yun.”
The young lovers revealed they are a real life couple last February, but there are some who still think their relationship is just, in showbiz parlance, for promo.
“Well, if kung ayaw naman nila maniwala, it’s up to them. Basta ang importante po, me and James, we know what’s real and we know the truth,” Nadine said. Indeed.
