Presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte said he has given his lawyer the go-signal to open the record of a BPI bank account that allegedly contains PHP227 million, according to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
“At least I can tell you na hindi talaga P200 million. Bahala na sila ni Sal Panelo mag-argue diyan,” Duterte told reporters on Friday, according to GMA News Online.
Unfortunately, Duterte won’t be gracing this occasion with his presence — he’ll be in Davao.
