Cris Villonco marries businessman Paolo Valderrama

Another celebrity said goodbye to singlehood over the weekend. Theater and television actress Cris Villonco tied the knot with businessman Paolo Valderrama at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes Par, Makati City, on Sat, Apr 30.

Cris, 32, wore an Elie Saab wedding gown at church and switched to dress by Filipino designer Lesley Mobo for the wedding reception.

The actress, last seen on stage playing Lavinia Arguelles in the musical adaptation of the 1980s movie Bituing Walang Ningning, is the granddaughter of actress Armida Seguion-Reyna.

She was introduced to Paolo by his sister, theater actress Sheila Valderrama-Martinez, two years ago.

We met at a birthday lunch. I knew of him and his marvelous work, but tried to keep quiet and classy. He then learns that I’m getting married and says, “I will make a gown for you.
