Duterte supporter who attacked Melai’s daughter claims that her account was hacked

When a baby bear is attacked, the mama bear comes to the rescue, and rightfully so. The world is a dangerous jungle, especially around election season.

On Sunday, May 1, comedienne Melai Cantiveros called out a supporter of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for wishing rape upon her two-year-old daughter, Amelia Lucille.

Cantiveros took to Instagram to post a screen capture of a message from Shawie Constantino Enriquez, who also accused the couple of being greedy.

Melai and her husband Jason Francisco are both supporters of Mar Roxas.

Hindi ako nakikipag away kahit binabash ako dahil si Mar Roxas ang napili at gusto kong presidente. Pero kung sasabihin mo saken ‘sana ma-rape ang anak ko’ — ay ibang usapan na yan,” [I don’t start fights even if I get bashed because I support Mar Roxas. However, if you tell me ‘I hope your daughter gets raped’…that’s an entirely different story] Cantiveros said in her post.

Cantiveros added that she is willing to file charges against Enriquez.

Shortly after Cantiveros’ Instagram post, Enriquez posted an apology. She said that she has started receiving online bashing even from fellow Duterte supporters.

Enriquez claims that her Facebook account was hacked two weeks ago.

However, Cantiveros doubts her claim.

Angelica Panganiban, a known Duterte supporter, showed support for her friend in spite of their political differences.
