Is Paulo Avelino an admirable ex-boyfriend or should we be reading between the lines?
In an interview with Coconuts Manila and other members of the press after the story conference of the upcoming ABS-CBN soap opera The Promise of Forever on Mon, May 2, the actor was asked to comment on his ex-girlfriend KC Concepcion’s love life.
The actress-TV host is reportedly dating football player Aly Borromeo, who even attended KC’s private birthday party last month.
“Well, she deserves to date someone else and be happy. Everyone deserves to be happy,” Paulo said. “And everyone deserves to find what they’re looking for.”
The actor was a bit coy, however, when asked if he and KC are okay and if they still communicate with each other. “Ah, yeah. I saw her during an event,” he said, referring to the Century Tuna Superbods event last month.
Paulo, 27, said he is happy (aren’t they all?) despite being single and he has no plans of seeing anyone in the foreseeable future.
“Pero tingnan natin. Hindi naman natin masasabi. Time will tell,” he added.
The actor will work with new ABS-CBN artist Ritz Azul and actor EJ Falcon in the TV drama The Promise of Forever, which is slated to premiere later this year.
