After Kris Aquino, Sharon Cuneta came to Zsa Zsa Padilla’s rescue after her breakup with Conrad Onglao.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the new coach of The Voice Kids said she’s sad that the two lovebirds have gone separate ways — after all, she was the one who introduced them to each other in 2014.
“You have to respect and give her space, if it’s something that ended,” Sharon told ABS-CBN News. “You have to let her grieve.”
She added that the two “had a good relationship and Zsa Zsa is a decent woman.”
Meanwhile, Ricky Lo in his Funfare column on The Philippine Star on Thu, May 5, described Zsa Zsa and Conrad’s breakup as “fast but not furious.” The breakup, he added, happened just last week. It was Zsa Zsa who initiated the split.
“Maybe she got fed up with Conrad’s attitude, especially towards showbiz people whom he looked down on,” Lo quoted an unnamed source.
There are no reports on why the couple ended to call it quits, but Lo said there was no third party involed.
Whatever the reason is, we wish Zsa Zsa (and Conrad) well.
And Conrad, FYI, showbiz peeps ain’t all that bad.
