Anti-Duterte ad paid for by Trillanes airs on ABS-CBN and GMA-7

We’re not taking anyone’s side except the kids’. Was there really a need to use them in this sort of political ad?

An anti-Duterte ad featuring children has been airing on the country three biggest TV networks: ABS-CBN and GMA-7. There were also people who claimed to have seen the ad being aired on TV5. However, TV5 has denied airing the ad.

The 30-second political ad shows kids commenting on video clips showing Duterte’s most controversial moments.

A Philippine Daily Inquirer report revealed that the ad was actually produced and paid for by Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.

The report noted: “Prior to airing with ABS-CBN, an audio version of the ad has been airing on radio stations.”
