Nurse in viral UV Express video to file case against male passenger

We can’t let people think that it’s okay to punch and berate strangers for no reason at all. This guy, and all the other guys like him, need to be taught a lesson.

Joana Balen, the female victim who was punched and verbally harassed while inside a UV Express, will file a case against John Michael Arellano Musni. She will pursue charges of physical injury, unjust vexation and oral defamation, ABS-CBN reports.

The 22-year-old emphasized that she won’t agree to a settlement even if Musni issues an apology because she does not want the same incident to happen to others.

In a separate report by Interaksyon, it was said that Raymond Fortun has volunteered to handle the case.

According to Fortun’s plan, they will demand from Musni PHP1 million as exemplary damages and PHP2 million as moral damages.

Earlier this week, a viral video of the incident went around on social media. Musni’s actions were caught on cam by another passenger, Soy Gonzales.

Musni has been identified with the help of the video and police officers had tried to visit him where he lives, but he was not at home.
