Amid election triumph, Duterte visits his parents’ graves

As election results showed him leading the presidential race and his closest rival conceding, Davao City Mayor and leading presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte visited his parents’ graves in Davao City at around 3am on Tue, May 10.

“Bystanders saw Duterte weeping at the gravesite,” reports Greanne Mendoza on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Duterte’s father Vicente was governor of Davao, and his mother Soledad was a school teacher.”
