Change may be the buzzword of the nation, but there are people who like it if things stay the way they are.
Incumbent Mayor Guia Gomez was proclaimed mayor of San Juan City anew on Mon evening, Mya 9.
“The Commission on Elections (Comelec) moved for Gomez’s immediate proclamation after she won the mayoralty race with 28,828 votes against rival Francis Zamora who obtained 27,604 votes,” reports Rosette Adel on Philstar.com.
Gomez’s running mate, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada’s daughter, Janella Ejercito, also won as vice mayor.
