Duterte weighs in on laglag-bala issue, warns NAIA personnel

Time for some much-needed change.

In a recent interview, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was asked to weigh in on the laglag-bala issue that continues to plague the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Duterte had this to say to all airport personnel regarding the matter: “Kayong nasa NAIA, pag may tanim pa d’yan, lahat kayo alis (You at NAIA, if there is still bullet-planting, you’re all out).”

“Duterte explained that his warning applies to everyone, including the head of office and the police commander stationed there,” reports InterAksyon.com.

Duterte added that he would hold all airport personnel accountable for what happens. He added, “Kung ang chief of police hindi nya kontroloda ang pulis nya, at may pulis dyan naglalaro, out silang lahat (If there is a chief of police who can’t control the people under him, then they’re all out).”

Duterte went on to say that he’d suggest that the erring airport personnel be posted in a beach in Zamboanga where a lot of kidnapping happens.
