Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho would like to reiterate that their baby Scarlet Snow is 100 percent their daughter.
In an article that came out on Philippine Star on Tue, May 17, Ricky Lo wrote that the 14-month-old celebrity baby is Hayden’s daughter “not with… Dr. Vicki Belo but with a surrogate mother whom neither Hayden nor Vicki has ever met.”

But in a statement sent to ABS-CBN’s Bandila aired Wed, May 18, the celebrity doctor clarified that Scarlet Snow, while carried by a surrogate mother, is “100% our baby,” Vicki said.
It’s also not true that they did not meet with Scarlet Snow’s surrogate mother.
“It’s not true that we don’t know her. We visited the family to make sure they were a happy family and ate well. We even stayed with them at the 5th month and for one month awaiting Scarlet’s birth,” she added.
In his Thu, May 19 column on Philippine Star, Ricky wrote Hayden “felt bad” that Scarlet Snow was described as not his child with Vicki’s but with a woman he has never met.
Hayden explained to Ricky that Scarlet Snow’s surrogate mom is “only a carrier,” a gestational surrogate, and “has no genetic contribution” to their baby.
“I met the surrogate mom and she is not Scarlet’s mother. It’s more complicated than that. Scarlet is not Mexican-American,” Hayden told Ricky in a text message.
