Another artist has left TV5. Vin Abrenica, brother of GMA actor Aljur Abrenica, is now official with ABS-CBN.
In an Instagram post on Wed, May 18, Star Cinema ad prom Mico del Rosario posted a photo of Vin with Star Creatives head Malou Santos and Star Creatives business unit head Des Tanwangco.
“Welcome to ABS-CBN [Vin Abrenica] !! Exciting times ahead!” he wrote.
Vin himself posted a photo with Malou and his manager Noel Ferrer on his Instagram account. “Thankful #BestTimesAhead,” he wrote.
The 24-year-old actor is the second home-grown TV5 talent to move to ABS-CBN. Last month, Ritz Azul signed a two-year exclusive contract with the Kapamilya network. He was the male winner of TV5’s reality talent search Artista Academy in 2012.
Vin is no stranger to ABS-CBN. He has been doing guest appearances on the network since last year, most recently on its Sunday variety show ASAP.
