‘Forever Summer’ tragedy: Reported deaths from spiked drinks

Four concertgoers have died and one is in critical condition after drinking what are believed to be spiked drinks at an event last night in Pasay City.

According to GMA News Breaking on Twitter, three of the victims were male, while the other one was female.

An American national is among the victims and police are now in touch with the American Embassy.

“We regret that despite the very stringent measures and precautions we have put in place to ensure the safety and security of all attendees involved, this incident still transpired,” said toothpaste brand Closeup in a statement released on its social media accounts.

Closeup Forever Summer, billed as “the summer’s biggest rave party,” was held at the Mall of Asia on May 21.
