Young actress Julia Barretto has headlined a number of projects since she was launched in 2013.
But her career has not been on the upswing lately, unlike those of her contemporaries Liza Soberano, Janella Salvador, and Jane Oineza, to name a few.
Julia’s last TV show, And I Love You So, lasted only for three months.
But the 19-year-old actress isn’t worried. Julia said she does not want to question God’s plans for her.
“Might as well focus on your path, your dreams, tapos kapag naabot mo, masaya ka. It’s not the same for everyone. It’s very different,” she told ABS-CBN News on Sun, May 22, noting she does not feel pressured when compared to fellow young stars like Liza and Kathryn Bernardo.
“Timing lang ‘yan. We all have our own time. I’m just waiting for mine. There’s no need to rush. I’m glad that I’m able to learn slowly so that when I get there, I’m ready. I want to be ready,” Julia added.
