Hubba-hubba, Escolta incubation space is now open

Hub Make Lab, the business incubation space in Escolta that we wrote about last April, finally opened last week.

There are 20 tenants that sells anything and everything — secondhand books, shirts, bags and other heritage-related items (Heritage Collective), modern-day agricultural brands and ides (MNLgrowkits), bright bags and purses from Cebu and Davao (NitzMart) to vintage and upcycled clothing (Purple Junkie).

To be managed by 98B COLLABoratory, Hub Make Lab is a six-days-a-week commercial area. Spaces are available for three months only.

There is also a drinking spot, Fred’s Revolución, imported from Cubao X. Opening by mid-June is the DEN, a cafe and lifestyle shop that promotes locally made products.

Hub Make Lab is at First United Building, 413 Escolta St, Binondo, Manila.
