In the video, the 21-year-old can be heard saying “gago pala” after he was reportedly heckled while singing.

Karla said Daniel is “okay” after the incident.

“Siya mismo, relaxed lang siya,” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN’s Bandila aired Thu, Jun 2. “Hangga’t okay si Daniel, hangga’t relaxed lang siya, hangga’t ayaw n’yang patulan lahat ng ito, e okay lang ako.” (He’s just relaxed. As long as Daniel is okay, as long as he’s relaxed, as long as he doesn’t engage hecklers, I’m okay.)

But Karla is only human. She also asked bashers to be careful and mindful of their actions.

“Syempre magrereflect po sa inyong mga magulang kung ano yung mga actions na ginagawa ninyo towards other people,” she said. “Kaya medyo ingat-ingat tayo.” (Your actions and how you treat other people reflect on your parents. So be careful.)
