Annabelle Rama slams unnamed reporter over Duterte ‘catcall’: ‘Ano ang big issue sa pag-sipol?’

Oh, Annabelle Rama, is back at it again on Twitter.

In a series of tweets on Sat, Jun 4, the famed talent manager and matriarch of the Gutierrez family said she is annoyed by the catcalling issue being lodged against incoming President Rodrigo Duterte, but not for the reason you would think.

Annabelle defended Duterte over the “catcalling” incident, calling it a “kap*tahang issue” (a cheap issue). For her, the incoming president did nothing wrong.

She said receiving a catcall or wolf whistle from a man is not offensive, especially if it came from someone “famous and decent.”

Annabelle also said she would respond to the catcall by doing a “malanding kindat” (a flirty wink).

What’s more, she slammed an unnamed woman, presumably a reporter, for “using Pres. Digong’s name” over the catcall issue.

While it’s not clear who Annabelle was referring to in her tweets, it can be surmised that the unnamed reporter may have criticized the outgoing Davao City Mayor over the catcall controversy

“Feeling mo maganda ka?Pweeeeeeee… Ano ang big issue sa pag-sipol, hindi naman ikaw ang sinipulan, bawal ba?” she tweeted.

Annabelle also said: “Kulang ka sa pansin or gusto mo lang lumandi sa presidente?”

“Hindi ka nahiya sa sarili mo? Ngawa ka ng ngawa hindi pala ikaw ang sinisipolan… hahaha… gaga hindi ka naman sikat!”

We wonder if Annabelle finds it ironic that her “Amen” came after her very flippant use of a curse word.

If you’re surprised that Annabelle is defending Duterte, well don’t be — the two are reportedly good friends (the Ramas are a political family in Cebu).

In fact, it was rumored that Annabelle will be offered the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board chairmanship (which her daughter Ruffa denied).

The big question remains: who was Annabelle Rama referring to in her tweets?
