Baron Geisler was part of Brillante Mendoza’s Ma ‘Rosa, which competed for the Palme d’Or in the prestigious 2016 Cannes Film Festival. But we all know that’s not why he’s been a hot topic lately.
Right now, Baron is said to be starting his training for his Jun 25 Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) fight against fellow actor Kiko Matos.
It may be recalled that the two engaged in a bar fight. The video clip of the said fight went viral.

In an interview with reporters at the sidelines of the opening of the French Film Festival on Wed, Jun 8, Baron revealed that he has started training for the much-talked about fight.
Baron was quoted as saying, “It’s very exhausting because I’m having a hard time with all the media and the interviews, instead of me running or training. Huminay-hinay na rin ako sa paninigarilyo kasi (I eased up on smoking because) I need to stay focused.”
Baron also disclosed that the contract for the URCC fight is still in the works, but that he’d be signing it soon.
