Aww, how sweet.
As we previously reported, Jessy Mendiola has taken the lead in the online poll for FHM Philippines’ “100 Sexiest Women in the World 2016” list, overtaking Nadine Lustre in the partial tally.

This does not bode well for Jennylyn Mercado, the sexiest woman of FHM Philippines last year. She landed on the third spot of the partial tally.
Despite this, there’s one person who believes the GMA actress is still the sexiest woman in the land: Dennis Trillo.
The actor posted the cover of FHM Philippines’ January 2016 issue which features Jennylyn in his Instagram account on Wed, Jun 15.
The caption for the post reads: “Basta para sakin ito ang number 1!”
Dennis and Jennylyn are currently exclusively dating.
And it seems Jennylyn wouldn’t mind not topping the sexiest women list this year.
In an interview last month, the actress said she was not expecting to named FHM Philippines’ Sexiest Woman in the World again. “Never akong nag-hope sa kahit anong bagay or competition pa iyan or award-giving body. Never akong nag-expect kasi mahirap mag-expect. Kung ano mang decision nila, happy ako,” she said.
(“I never hoped for anything, may it be in a competition or an award-giving body. I never expected anything because it’s difficult to expect. I’m happy whatever the decision will be.”)
Of course, there’s still hope for Jennylyn and her fans, Dennis including: FHM Philippines’ sexiest women poll will run until today.
It’s easy to see why Dennis would want Jennylyn to win, aside from the fact that they’re dating each other.
But we’re pretty sure no one would complain if Jessy ends up topping the poll.
What else can we say except, may the best woman win!
