Jolo Revilla after breakup with Jodi Sta. Maria: ‘I wish her the best’

As is customary with these things, Jolo Revilla finally broke his silence about the status of his relationship with Jodi Sta. Maria, hours after she confirmed the status of their relationship on national TV last night.

In a TV interview on Tue, Jun 21, Jodi admitted that she and Jolo have called it quits. She did say, however, that they remain friends despite the split.

Jolo, who was re-elected as vice governor of Cavite, said the breakup was a “mutual decision.”

“I wish her the best,” Jolo was quoted by Gorgy Rula in a Pep.ph report published Wed, Jun 22.

Like Jodi, Jolo did not give details about the split.

Jolo, 28, did say he wants to focus on his responsibility as vice governor of Cavite, saying “there is a right time” to talk about his personal life. In showbiz speak, that means he doesn’t want to talk about it unless he reaaaally has to.

Jodi, who was mum about her love life the past few weeks, admitted the breakup in an interview with ABS-CBN’s Tonight With Boy Abunda while promoting her movie The Achy Breaky Hearts.

Jolo and Jodi admitted their relationship in 2012. They reportedly went through a couple of rough patches, but consistently chose to remain quiet about their relationship, until now.

Here’s hoping Jodi and Jolo find peace and happiness after their split.
