This is a pleasant surprise.
Basketball player Scottie Thompson — who plays for Ginebra — just confirmed that he is a big fan of the ABS-CBN primetime soap, Dolce Amore, which stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.
Thompson explained, “Mahilig ako sa teleserye kasi yung mommy ko pagdating ko sa bahay puro teleserye, so nanonood na rin ako hanggang sa nahawa na ako. Nahiligan ko ng manood ng Dolce Amore. Paborito ko yun ngayon.”
(“My mom is really into teleseryes so I watched them with her until I got into it, too. I like watching Dolce Amore. It’s my favorite.”)
“Rarely does the pressure of a big game affect Thompson, but his heart pounds when Soberano is on. In fact, when asked if he would star in a TV show. Thompson said he would only do so if Soberano is his leading lady,” reports Inquirer.net.
Thompson clarified, though, that his girlfriend doesn’t mind every time he gushes over Soberano.
In fact, she also watches Dolce Amore with Thompson, who explained, “Minsan kami ng girlfriend ko sabay kaming nanonood and sabay din kaming kinikilig.”
(“My girlfriend and I watch it together from time to time and we both get thrilled by it.”)
