PNoy welcomes end of presidential term

Because being President takes a lot out of a person.

At the 118th anniversary celebration of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thu, Jun 23, President Noynoy Aquino told everyone that he’s in a good mood.

“The outgoing President expressed confidence that he would leave behind a country in a much better state compared to when he found it, adding he remains grateful for serving the Filipino nation in the past six years,” reports Genalyn D. Kabiling in Tempo.

(“I am smiling because it’s just seven days before I step down from my post.”)

(“Let’s stay united and continue we aimed to do: To leave the country in a better shape than we found it. Until the end, it has been an honor for me to serve Filipinos and the Philippines.”)
