Let’s just get this out of the way: Sex is awesome. There’s no question about it. The only thing left to ask now is what’s the best way to enjoy it?
To shed more light on this question, we approached a bunch of people from Coconuts cities (Jakarta, Bangkok, Bali, Manila, Hongkong, and Singapore) and asked them their favorite sex position.
You guessed it right: Their initial reaction was somewhere between embarrassed and delighted, but they were all up to the task.
Both guys from Bali suggested to just keep things natural and to “relax, go slowly.” Which makes sense on an island that’s considered one of the most serene in the world. Go with the flow. Keep the peace.
Meanwhile, a woman from Kuala Lumpur — home of huge, long, and hard things (we mean the Petronas Towers, guys) — was just stark honest and answered, “Every single damn thing… As long as I feel aroused.” Well, she ain’t wrong about that.
Our Singaporean respondents were quite shy in sharing their answers about getting it on, which could be why Singapore reported such low birth rates. But after some gentle prodding, the guy answered, “I like to ride, but at the same time I like it doggy.” Shy in the streets, I-like-it-doggy in the sheets?
Both people from ever-so-dynamic Hong Kong had pretty interesting answers.
Just like their city, the answers contained pleasant surprises (one of which we were not prepared for — like, at all). The woman says each experience is different if you’re with different partners “because different sizes, different curvatures… It doesn’t always fit exactly the same with each person.” As for the guy’s answer, well, it’s better you watch it on the video.
And hey, goodie-two-shoes Manila — the proverbial Catholic school girl of Asia — guess what? We found a rare gem: “A certified virgin!”

So we guess sex is as diverse as the people who enjoy it. And just like in politics, the position doesn’t matter, as long as you get the job done.
