Duterte plans to set up 12 hotline numbers for people’s complaints

People are probably already itching to dial these numbers.

In his speech during the thanksgiving celebration at the Sugbo Grounds at the South Road Properties in Cebu City on Fri, Jun 26, President-elect Rodrigo Duterte revealed his plan to set up hotline numbers to address people’s complaints.

“Duterte explained that people could call any of the 12 hotline numbers to directly report to him the corrupt practices of government employees and officials. Government employees can also talk about their fellow employees’ involvement in corruption,” reports Carmel Loise Matus in Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Duterte went on to say that “the 12 phone numbers can be used to access him 24 hours a day and will be manned by persons who will take note of their calls and complaints.”
