Bogus bomb threat yields bag full of shabu in Pasay City

Sometimes bogus bomb threats lead to more explosive discoveries.

On Mon afternoon, Jun 27, Pasay City police operatives responding to a bomb threat ended up seizing something else.

“Pasay police chief Senior Superintendent Joel Doria revealed that PHP30 million worth of shabu was found inside a black bag that had been left unattended onboard a Davao-bound Grande Courier Bus at the EVI Terminal at EDSA in Malibay, Pasay,” reports Philippine News Agency.

Doria theorized that, perhaps, the person carrying the bag must have decided to leave on seeing the police responding to the reported bomb threat.

Should we call this serendipity?
