All’s well between Mo Twister and Baron Geisler… sort of.
Baron finally appeared in the podcast Good Times with Mo on Mon, Jul 11.
This is after the actor called Mo “not a man of your word” and “simply gay” after his failed guesting on the show last week.
And of course, Baron apologized to Mo, saying his outburst was caused by a misunderstanding caused by producers of the podcast.
“You know, I just want to apologize,” he told Mo. “Nagkaroon ng misunderstand (there was a misunderstanding), man, with your producer or producers.”
Baron further explained that he worked for one week straight prior to his failed guesting and got only around five to six hours of sleep.
“Siguro uminit lang ang ulo (I was just in a bad mood). But it’s all good. I’m here,” Baron said.
He even revealed he has a book coming out next month under ABS-CBN Publishing. He’s also working on writing and producing his own movie. Good job, Baron!
But since the podcast involved Baron Geisler, it didn’t exactly go as planned.
Throughout the episode, Baron expressed his discomfort during the show.
In case you don’t know, Good Times with Mo: The Podcast is an on-air advice show that takes phone-in questions (usually about relationships and sex) from its listeners.
It’s also known for tackling very controversial topics (remember Maria Ozawa’s revelation about Cesar Montano?) with its celebrity guests.
And Baron didn’t exactly like the questions being asked on the show.
At one point, Baron said to a caller who asked a very personal question regarding getting his partner pregnant: “Another stupid question from another stupid person! Oh my God.”
He added: “He (caller) just wants attention. And I’m not all for that. I’m trying to stay the course and this is all… sorry, but this is all bullsh**. Sorry.”
Mo took Baron’s comment in stride.
It was much later in the show when Baron revealed why he got mad at Mo: Apparently, Baron was offended when Cai Cortez revealed in the podcast that year that she had sexual relations with him.
“Because that’s a very serious secret thing,” Baron said.
Referring to Mo, he added: “Especially if you’re a very educated man, you’re a very educated assho**, and you’re a very smart dude. So yeah, I just don’t want to fall in your trap.”
“We’ve been disagreeing all night, but we’re still friends. I still love you. I think you’re very talented, and I wish all the best for you,” Mo told Baron.
Apparently, Mo and Baron are long-time friends (they’ve known each other from the ’90s, when they were both starting out in showbiz). We sure hope this is the end of their feud.
