Suspect killed in Zamboanga City drug bust was carrying ‘Duterte volunteer’ ID

We don’t quite know what to make of this.

On Tue, Jul 12, a man who was allegedly a notorious drug pusher was killed in an encounter with the police in Purok 8, Recodo, Zamboanga City.

“Eduardo Alima engaged in a firefight with policemen during a buy-bust operation,” reports Jewel Reyes on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Police later recovered an identification card indicating that Alima was a volunteer in President Rodrigo Duterte’s election campaign.

However, as of the filing of the report, there was no way of knowing if Alima was really a Duterte campaign volunteer.
