RJ Jacinto named presidential economic adviser

He’s not just the guitar man.

On Thu, Jul 14, the Palace announced that musician and businessman Ramon “RJ” Jacinto has been appointed as presidential adviser on economic affairs and information technology communications.

“The 70-year-old Jacinto, who campaigned for President Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 elections, happens to be a business tycoon as well. He is engaged in real estate, retail, and manufacturing ventures under the RJ Group of Companies,” reports ABS-CBN News.

He is an economics graduate from Ateneo de Manila University.
