It’s confirmed! The 2019 Southeast Asian Games (SEAGames) will be held in Davao City.
According to Philippine Sports Commission chairman Butch Ramirez, President Rodrigo Duterte has approved a proposal to host the 30th SEAGames in Davao instead of Manila.
The 2019 SEAGames will be the fourth time that the Philippines hosted the biennial sports festival attended by 11 nations. The last SEAGames held in Manila was in 2005.
