Gloria mulls going abroad to seek 2nd opinion on deteriorating condition

Will she get sympathy now?

Former President and current Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is now thinking of going abroad to seek a second opinion on her condition.

Arroyo bared the state of her health after the initial check-ups she took post-detention, saying, “I have some new conditions that I am now suffering which I wasn’t suffering before. Hypertension and the nerve deterioration, those two things are new conditions that were dormant that maybe got exacerbated.”

“Arroyo cited the specialist at Makati Medical Center who recommended that she seek treatment from a specialist who is a ‘cervical spine purist who does repeat surgery every day.’ At the moment, nobody does that in the Philippines,” reports RG Cruz on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Arroyo was supposed to seek medical treatment in 2011 but she was stopped by the government from boarding a plane because it was about to file an electoral sabotage case against her. The government stopped her from leaving even if the Supreme Court upheld her right to travel since she had not been formally charged at the time she attempted to leave.”
