Oh no you didn’t: Trump names Philippines as terrorist nation, implies Filipinos are ‘animals’

Just when you thought Donald Trump, a.k.a. America’s worst nightmare, is too busy dealing with his campaign that’s spiraling down on him, here he comes attacking nine countries all in one go — including the Philippines.

Agence France-Presse (as published on GMA News) reported that Republican Party presidential bet Donald Trump strengthened his fight against immigrants in his rally in Portland, Maine on Thursday (Aug 4).

“We are letting people come in from terrorist nations that shouldn’t be allowed because you can’t vet them,” said Trump.

“You have no idea who they are. This could be the great Trojan horse of all time… This is a practice that has to stop,” he added, fanning the fire of Islamophobia one word at a time by saying that the refugees coming into the United States might be part of the Islamic extremist groups.

Trump then said that immigrants from primarily Muslim countries are “arrested for conducting or threatening to carry out violent attacks, teaching bomb-making to recruits, and otherwise supporting terror groups.”

He then named these countries as Afghanistan, Iraq, Morocco, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Uzbekistan, Yemen and the Philippines, and piped up, “We’re dealing with animals.”

Well, look who’s suddenly an expert on foreign affairs and terrorism. We suggest getting your facts straight first, Mr. Trump. Do your assignment.
