Showbiz royalties Marian Rivera and husband Dingdong Dantes are giving Baby Zia a headstart in life by enrolling her to school even if she’s only nine months old.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Marian talked about her life as a hands-on mom and Baby Zia’s baby class.
Marian and Dingdong are both hands-on parents for adorable Zia. Marian said they’re taking turns in showbiz because tthey couldn’t bear to be away from their first daughter.
“Sabi ko nga, gusto ko munang mag-focus kay Zia. Now na may soap (show) si Dong, parang mahihirapan kami na wala sa [Zia]. So siguro, si Dong muna sa soap then, after ni Dong na mag-soap, ako naman.“
(I said, I want to focus on Zia for now. Now, Dong has a soap opera, so we might have a hard time being away from Zia. So maybe, Dong will do the show for now, when he’s done, it’s my turn.)
They have also taken Zia to baby classes to interact with other kids and have a few fun lessons.
“About music lang naman, mingling sa ibang mga bata… Halimbawa, sounds like a bird, ipapakita yung book ng bird. It’s a bird, tapos, ‘tweet, tweet,’” Marian shared.
(It’s just about music, mingling with other kids… For example, sounds like a bird, we’ll show the book about birds. It’s a bird, then ‘tweet, tweet.’)
“Lahat naman ng bata ngayon, nagga-ganun na. Nakikipag-socialize na para siyempre yung development nila bilang bata. Ayoko naman na kapag nilalabas ko siya, takot siya sa tao. Gusto ko namang ma-develop ang personality niya,” she explains.
(All kids are doing it today. They socialize with other kids for their development. I don’t want her to be afraid of other people when we go out with her. I want her to develop her personality.)
Marian adds that swimming and piano lessons are in Zia’s future after she turns one year old on Nov 23.
