There’s trouble in Quezon City Hall!
Former child star and QC 4th District councilor Hero Bautista allegedly tested positive for marijuana and shabu.
Hero is the younger brother of QC Mayor Herbert Bautista.
According to Jovic Yee of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Herbert admitted his brother failed the drug test during a “closed-door meeting” with department heads on Wed, Aug 10.
This was after the city’s councilors and Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte underwent voluntary drug tests last week.
On Sat, Aug, 6, Belmonte admitted that one of the city’s councilors tested positive for drugs.
Hero has since been tagged as the councilor who allegedly failed the drug test.
But other reports say Herbert is yet to confirm if it was Hero who tested positive.
According to a report in the Philippine Star, Herbert “neither confirmed nor denied reports that his brother tested positive for drug use.”
In an interview in ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol aired Thu, Aug 11, QC Administrator Aldrin Cuna likewise said “there is no confirmation yet” regarding Hero’s drug test results.
“Lahat ng results are submitted to the mayor in confidence… From there, we will inform all the concerned whether they are plus or minus,” Cuna said.

The TV Patrol report added Hero will respond to the reports via a privilege speech on Mon, Aug 15.
