Filipino dance group UPeepz just bagged the top spot at the recently concluded 2016 World Hiphop Dance Championship held at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa on Aug 13, Sat (Sunday Manila time).
UPeepz earned the top score of 8.69 for the MegaCrew Division, securing the top prize. Lock ‘n Lol from South Korea and Royal Family from New Zealand came in second (8.37) and third (8.29) place respectively.
The world championship is under Hip Hop International (HHI), which aims “to unite he world of hip hop through dance.”
The UP Diliman-based dance group made the official announcement on their Twitter account.
