The world of showbiz can be tough, no thanks to mean people. And Rita Gabiola got her first taste of this inside Bahay ni Kuya (Big Brother’s House) on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Lucky Season 7.
Rita Gabiola, aka Badjao Girl from Zamboanga (though she actually lives in Quezon), first shot to fame when a stolen photo of her begging during the Pahiyas Festival went viral on social media.
Netizens simply couldn’t believe her natural model-like looks.
In a clip televised by ABS-CBN, fellow teen housemates Heaven and Kisses took Rita’s underwear from the clothesline and decided to show it to the rest of the house — and national TV.
Why, you ask? Well, apparently her underwear looks funny. Or maybe they’re just really mean.
Rita, who was washing the dishes at that time, saw her undies being paraded and grabbed it from the housemate’s hand. She then went back to washing the dishes, tears streaming down her face.
The girls went to Rita to apologize, saying they thought it was somebody else’s stuff.
Rita said, “Kasi ayoko ginaganun ang gamit ko… Ang paglaruan ang gamit ko, masakit sa akin.“
(I don’t like it when people do that to my stuff… When people make fun of my stuff, it hurts me.)
