‘Reliable source’ says DJ Karen Bordador tested negative for drug use

Embattled radio DJ Karen Bordador tested negative for drug use, according to “a reliable source,” GMA News reported Friday.

Bordador and her boyfriend Emilio Lim were arrested after authorities raided Lim’s condominium unit last Sat, Aug 13, and found ecstasy and marijuana worth P2.8 million.

Lim tested positive, according to the same source. The Southern Police District is yet to confirm these reports as of posting.

However, despite Bordador’s favorable results, authorities say it will not affect the case against the couple.

Good news for Lim, but bad news for Bordador.

The couple was scheduled for a preliminary investigation at the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office yesterday for charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
